Helping You Find Debt Relief
Facing serious debt problems can be one of the most stressful situations a person faces. Whether you are dealing mortgage debt or other forms of serious debt, do not work with a debt consolidation company. Many of these companies do not have an attorney on staff, and they do not have a thorough understanding of Connecticut law. The only way you can know you are getting real, lasting solutions is to discuss your options with an experienced debt relief attorney.
I am Jennifer LaRese. With nearly a decade of experience handling debt law, I have helped clients through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy and I regularly work with my clients to obtain more manageable debt terms. I represent clients in Southbury and throughout the New Haven County, Litchfield County and Fairfield County areas of Connecticut.
Many people lose sleep and fret for years over their debt problems. These issues can also negatively impact your personal and professional relationships and your stress level. Rather than waiting or trying to fight this battle alone, discuss your options with a lawyer today. The sooner you contact me, the more I can do to help you. Don’t wait another day; call me at 203-583-8668.
Your Debt Relief Options
There are a number of options available if you are facing excessive debt, including lower interest rates, deferments, forbearance and straight repay options. You might even qualify for a government program like the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP). HAMP is an income-based program that allows qualifying homeowners to obtain lower payments or interest rates on their mortgages. Many lenders also have their own programs to help people struggling to make payments.
I help clients use these methods, as well as Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy and other methods to find relief from:
- Credit card debt: I work with credit card companies and their collection agencies to work out more favorable terms for your credit card debts.
- Medical bills: Sudden medical emergencies often cost more than people can afford. I can help you find debt relief from balances remaining from copays, surgical costs, hospital visits, ambulance costs and doctor visits.
- Personal loans: Personal loans can be the most challenging, as they can involve family or other loved ones. I am sensitive to the personal dynamics involved in personal loan debts, and I can help you.
